Aangespoelden
A retrospective study of my integration process in Belgium
Story
I recently became aware of the word: “Aangespoelden”. Being an immigrant myself it really hit - I felt identified by it. But it is usually used here, for people who are not originally from Gent, but ended living here. It literally means “Washed Ashore”.
It hit because I consider myself an immigrant!
My final year project for “Digital Storytelling” will be about that topic.
